Permalink Absolutely LOVE digital printing! It’s amazing. It makes you really body conscious, but that is of course something you can work around ;)  It’s so much fun! Recommend everyone to try this!

Researching

I know i have not posted in a while, sorry for that! I got kind of lost in my sketchbook having SO much fun with my FMP! I can finally work without anyone telling me what to do!

Since my last post i’ve been working continuously on my research and my nose has been in my sketchbook for about 4 weeks now.

As said before my theme for this project is Mechanic / organic, but i’m looking into the details of reptiles, shapes of cars and crystals more then the fact that they are organic/ mechanic.

Some pictures of my drawings in my sketchbook =)

Permalink Final Major Project!
I can finally see the end of the tunnel!!
I’ve been all over Norway collecting images for some inspiration. Some of the places i’ve been is Horten Automobile Museum, Oslo Reptile Park and Royal Norwegian Navy Museum in Horten. I also drag my fiancé along on a treasure hunt to find volcanic stones in Tønsberg. In the dark! Which was a lot of fun, at least for me.
I was not sure where to start so went around taking loads of photos and ended up with Organic vs. Mechanic as my main theme. Now It remains to see what comes next.

Collaboration with British designer Charlotte Taylor.

My first University project in level 3 was a collaboration with British designer Charlotte Taylor. Feel free to check her out at this web page: http://www.charlottetaylorltd.com/

She wanted us to be inspired by Japanese art and culture as she did in her S/S 2011 collection. I was inspired by how every station in Japan has their own lunch boxes and their own specific food. After a bit of research on the different stations I got stuck on Herujaki station street style. More specifically the way some people style their eye lashes. I was also drawn to Kabuki theatre, mainly because of the lines in the face and the volume in the costumes.
